Skolos & Wedell is an American graphic design studio known for bold typography, geometric compositions, and concept-driven design. They are also educators and co-authors of Graphic Design Process: From Problem to Solution, a widely used design textbook. I was tasked with creating a booklet utilizing one of their works, and incorporating it as a graphic element in the book.

Looking into designs of other books, I wanted togo for a simplistic style that incorporated minimalistic graphic elements. Books such as Quiet Rage and The Great Fall were massive inspiration for the design, while Glittering a Turd was for its arrangement of typography.
